Cosmetics, Perfumes, Make-up, Skin Care, Products are Produced at Yeditepe University
Suna Dumankaya is Turkey's first brand that sets an example for University-Industry cooperation in the field of natural and herbal cosmetics. Since 2006, more than 600 R&D studies have been carried out in our Yeditepe University Cosmetics Research and Production Center with the harmonization of its natural recipes and traditional unique knowledge, and the information in our university's professional laboratory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) conditions. In addition, it has given 55 different product groups, from personal care products to specific eyebrow and eyelash care products, to our country and the world market in cosmetics.
The cosmetics industry, which is indispensable for our country as well as all over the world, means that it becomes a world brand in terms of consumer confidence and product quality when it is made by experts in the field. Her granddaughter Suna DUMANKAYA, who carried the precious beauty secrets she received from Fatma ÖKTEM, who was also the aromatherapist of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, broke new ground by backing the Yeditepe University Cosmetics Research and Production Unit in an area that has no example in our country. As a result of long-lasting research and clinical effectiveness studies in line with the acceptance criteria of world standards and science, "Pure and Natural" products from the past and which will be passed on to future generations, with the brand "Suna Dumankaya".
In these studies, it has succeeded in reflecting the requirements of the age and modern cosmetics, such as Multi peptide complexes that eliminate the signs of aging, from the Orchid flower, one of the best moisturizers in the world in the Anti-aging series, to its products in the best way.
It has become a source of justified pride in the field of cosmetics of our country with its layered emulsion technique in solar products and smart microcapsule techniques that are not even in world brands. As Yeditepe University, the ongoing cooperation with the Suna Dumankaya brand for years is a pleasure for us as scientists.
